About

I’m a web application security engineer in Philadelphia, PA. I review web applications for vulnerabilities through manual and automated testing and am primarily interested in front-end browser security and performance.

I’ve got extensive experience developing highly-trafficked web applications and improving back-end performance [SQL query tuning, Memcached and other caching mechanisms] as well as on the front-end [CDNs, asset minification/compression and caching, HTTP2, etc.]. I have even engineered a RESTful API or two and take great pride in using Content Security Policy for the good of humanity.

When I’m not saving the planet from browser-extension-injected advertising, I enjoy cycling and meandering, cross-country road trips. While new to the hobby of amateur radio (HAM) my belief is that those physics courses will one day aid me in constructing the perfect 2m antenna.
